No excuses...

I cannot believe it's been almost two months since I've been over here *ducks head* ... I have no idea what happened to me. Well, I kinda know;) LIFE

But today, I got back to the fun people that I hang out with sometimes... some people call them imaginary friends, writers call them characters;) I'm hanging out with Keegan and Jewel, the hero and heroine from the short story I'm working on that I will be putting up for free on Amazon!!!

Keegan is hunky and yummy and a little bad. Well, he's a lot bad. And that just makes him a STUD, right? That's what I was thinking when I captured the fabulous pic above in San Francisco. Oh yeah... a stud bar.

So, here's a little unedited, raw teaser from a scene between the two in Jewel's point of view.

Keegan is laughing.

“I’m glad to hear you have your voice back.” It’s even more pathetic that I actually am. The sound of his laugh is warm. I missed that when he was gone. When we were kids he would make me laugh when I was sad. He was always trying to make me feel better and it worked, but not for the reason he thought. I loved to hear him laugh.

“You’re so cute.”

“You like it when I’m mean to you. There is something seriously wrong with you, Keegan.”

He walks over to me and I stop breathing. If I look up he could kiss me. He leans down and I’m scared his lips will touch my skin. I’m trying to be angry and so far that hasn’t helped much when he’s this close. Instead his voice whispers in my ear.

“I like everything about you, Jewel. I’ll take you anyway you’ll let me. Just say the word; mean, hard, rough? I’ll go there with you.”
